Reintroduction of Peganum harmala to Nicosia old walls, Cyprus

Peganum harmala occurs in Southeastern Europe, Mediterranean region and to the east towards central Asia and northwest India. It is a perennial species, flowering from May to June and fruiting from May to August. In Cyprus, it was recorded only at one location, near the walls of the old city of Lefkosia, on waste ground.

Translocation of Anthemis tomentosa to Gialia and Akamas areas, Cyprus

Anthemis tomentosa is an annual species (therophyte) flowering from late March to May and fruiting from May to July, depending on the weather conditions. It occurs on sandy and gravelly coasts (habitat type 2110 Embryonic shifting dunes according to Annex I of the Habitat directive), near the sea level. In Cyprus, it is recorded in four locations:

Reintroduction of Euphorbia paralias to Gialia area, Cyprus

Euphorbia paralias grows in west Europe and the Mediterranean towards the Black sea. It is a perennial species, flowering from February to December. The fruiting starts early, but ripening and dispersal of seeds starts at October and last for several months. In Cyprus, it has been recorded at 11 locations.
