After CARE-MEDIFLORA actions in Crete
The Mediterranean Plant Conservation Unit (MPCU) of MAICh has secured funding for the follow-up of the in situ actions for Horstrissea dolinicola Greuter, P. Gerstberger & B. Egli and Androcymbium rechingeri Greuter, two taxa for which in situ actions were implemented in Crete during the CARE-MEDIFLORA project.

Horstrissea dolinicola Plant Micro-Reserve established, Crete
The Plant Micro-Reserve (PMR) for Horstrissea dolinicola Greuter, P. Gerstberger & B. Egli, an endemic plant of Crete found only in a restricted area of Psiloritis mountain, was finally established by taking the legal status of a “Protected Natural Formation”.
