The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment of Cyprus, Dr Costas Kadis, at the Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) Genebank, Cyprus

The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment of Cyprus, Dr. Costas Kadis, paid a visit to the ARI genebank on the 13th of March 2018 where he was informed about the genebank activities and the running projects. In particular, the minister was briefed about the objectives and the outcomes of the CARE-MEDIFLORA project. He also had the opportunity to see plants of rare and threatened species of the flora of Cyprus, which were produced for the in situ activities of the project. The Minister expressed his satisfaction about the progress of the project and stressed its great contribution to the national efforts for the conservation of rare and threatened species of Cyprus.
