CARE-MEDIFLORA partner at international symposium and workshop in Kuwait

Prof. Bacchetta, from Hortus Botanicus Karalitanus - project partner in Sardinia, participated in the “International Symposium and Workshop on Native Seeds in Restoration of Dryland Ecosystems”, which took place in the State of Kuwait from 20th to 23rd November 2017.

In particular, Prof. Bacchetta was the Chairperson of the session "Native plant conservation and selection". In addition, he made a presentation entitled “Seed testing and conservation of autochthonous plant species for use in restoration of damaged habitats: a Mediterranean perspective”. On this occasion, he presented the CARE-MEDIFLORA project as well as the GENMEDA network.
